Brooklyn Projects was started back in 2004 by Dom DeLuca aka “Brooklyn Dom, the man who brought skateboarding to Hollywood.” Not only is Dom the co-founder and owner of Brooklyn Projects, he’s also a former professional BMXer, record company exec, MTV VJ and an avid skateboarder. His shop which is located on Melrose Avenue has become a destination for anybody longing to be associated and eventually connected with the Los Angeles skateboarding scene. Not only do they carry the biggest brands in the sport, they also have their own line of hard and soft branded goods. Today Brooklyn Projects is referred to by many as the world’s greatest skate lifestyle brand that was built on the fundamentals of street culture.
